How it wears
The opening is unusually crowded and it works — lemon and bergamot for lift, melon and water notes for a cool, almost aquatic quality, then cardamom, ginger and pink pepper cutting through with spice. Fresh and warm at the same time, which is harder to pull off than it sounds.

The heart goes fruity but dry: green apple and black currant against sage, lavender and rose, with patchouli grounding it. That's where it stops being a summer scent and starts being a year-round one.

The base is the reason to own it. Vanilla, sandalwood, cashmere wood, cedar, white musk and ambergris — soft, warm, and it stays for hours without ever getting heavy.

About the house
Nishane is an independent Turkish house, founded in Istanbul in 2012, operating outside the large fragrance groups. Extrait concentration and small production.
