Honeyed caramel over leather. Teriaq is the original — softer and stranger than the Intense that followed it.
How it wears
It opens on caramel and bitter almond with apricot behind them, and pink pepper keeping the sweetness honest. That almond is the tell — it gives the opening a marzipan quality rather than plain sugar.
The heart is where it gets genuinely unusual. Honey, rhubarb, white flowers and rose. Rhubarb is not a note you meet often — sharp, green and slightly sour — and putting it against honey is a real decision. It's what stops this being another sweet Lattafa.
Then leather arrives, with vanilla, musk, labdanum and vetiver underneath. Soft leather rather than the sharp kind, and by the dry-down it's warm and a little dusty.
Worth knowing: composed by Quentin Bisch — the perfumer behind Parfums de Marly Delina, Gucci Bloom and Mugler Angel Nova. He also did Teriaq Intense. Houses at this price don't usually get names like that.
Cooler weather, though it's lighter than the note list suggests. Unisex.

Not the same as Teriaq Intense — that one is saffron, plum liquor and cinnamon over amber and tonka. Related name, different fragrance.
