Black cherry over oud and leather. Infinity is a 2023 release from Pierre Montale, and it's the kind of fragrance that gets you asked what you're wearing.

How it wears
Cherry and plum open it, but saffron and pink pepper stop it well short of smelling like fruit juice. Underneath is where the money is — real oud, leather, rose and sandalwood layered together, and it's dense. The dry-down moves to tobacco leaf, vanilla sugar and amber, by which point it's a different fragrance from the one you sprayed.

Cold weather scent. Go easy on the sprays, this one carries.

If you've been curious about oud but put off by how medicinal it can smell on its own, this is a friendlier way in.
