Leather, with not much standing in front of it. Ombré Leather is Tom Ford's 2018 release, a reworking of the 2016 Private Blend original brought back as a standalone.

How it wears
There's a brief hit of cardamom, then the leather arrives and stays. It's a soft, suede-like leather rather than the sharp animalic kind, with jasmine sambac keeping it from turning severe. Amber, moss and patchouli sit underneath and give it weight. The structure is simple and done well — most of what you smell at hour four is what you smelled at minute five.

Unisex, and one of the more genuinely wearable leathers out there.
